MOVING OF OBSERVATORY

(17) The Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, on request of the Head_ of the Department of Astronomy, requests the removal of the Reflector Building (the larger of the two small observatories) from its present location to a point 120 feet east of the West line fence, and 32 feet south of the North line fence, of the new Poultry Plant. The Dean of the College of Agriculture acquiesces in this. Authority to re-equip the building is also requested. I recommend approval of these requests, the entire expense to be charged to the special equipment fund of the College. O n m o t i o n of M r s . E v a n s , these r e c o m m e n d a t i o n s w e r e a p proved. B O O K K E E P I N G M A C H I N E F O R BUSINESS OFFICE (18) On request of the Comptroller, I recommend that #775 be assigned from the Reserve and Contingent Fund to the Business Office for the purchase of a new bookkeeping machine. O n motion of M r . Trees, this recommendation was approved, by the following vote: Aye, M r . Armstrong, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, M r s . Grigsby, Mrs. Ickes, M r . Noble, M r . Trees; no, none; absent, M r . Blair, M r . Small, M r . Trimble. At this point, Mrs. Evans withdrew.
