DIRECTORS OF THE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (6) A recommendation that the present members of the Board of Directors of the Athletic Association: Mr. George Huff, Professor G. A. Goodenough, Judge O. A. Harker, Mr. Harvey J. Sconce, and Mr. Eugene I.^Burke, be reappointed to serve until March, 192J. O n motion of M r . Trees, this recommendation was approved. At this point, Mr. Blair took his place with the Board. BEQUEST OF BOOKS BY DR. F. R. BUTTERFIELD (7) A recommendation that the President and the Secretary of the Board be authorized to execute the following document: W H E R E A S , Forrest R. Butterfield, Deceased, late of Chicago, Illinois, by his Will dated March 23, 1923, gave and bequeathed unto the undersigned, The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for the Medical Department thereof, his library on medical, surgical, and allied subjects to be paid over to the undersigned in the course of the administration of his said estate; and appointed Chicago Trust Company, an Illinois corporation, executor of his said Will; and the said testator died on or about the 25th day of December, 1923; and shortly after his decease the said executor duly proved the said Will in the Probate Court of Cook County, Illinois; and W H E R E A S , the said executor has not yet ascertained the amount of the debts and credits of said testator, but as it believes that the assets of the said testator will be sufficient to pay his debts and the several specific bequests given by his said Will; and W H E R E A S , it has not yet been ascertained whether there may be a contest of said Will and the same set aside and the appointment of the said Chicago Trust Company as executor revoked, but as the executor believes that the same cannot be successfully contested, it, the said executor, has agreed to pay over to the undersigned, The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, the bequest of the deceased's library on medical, surgical, and allied subjects consisting of the items shown by the receipt attached to this bond, upon the undersigned entering into this bond with such condition as is hereinafter contained. N O W , T H E C O N D I T I O N O F THIS B O N D IS S U C H , that if the personal estate of said testator should not prove sufficient to pay his debts, funeral and testamentary expenses and the necessary charges of the said executorship and all the pecuniary legacies given by said Will, or if the said Will should be successfully contested and the same set aside and the letters testamentary issued to the Chicago Trust Com-
