DEDICATION OF MEDICAL BUILDINGS (8) A statement concerning the matter of dedicating the new Medical Research Library and Laboratory building and the group of Educational hospitals in connection with the meeting of the American Medical Association next spring. O n motion of Mrs. Evans, a special committee, consisting of the President of the Board, the President of the University, and the D e a n of the College of Medicine, was appointed to take up with the Director of the State Department of Public Welfare the matter of the dedication of these buildings. PARR COKING PROCESS (9) A recommendation that the sum of $15,000 be appropriated from the Reserve and Contingent Fund to meet in part the expenses of establishing and operating an experimental fuel plant for the purpose of determining whether the Parr Process i s practicable on substantially a commercial scale, and of securing further information about the distillation of Illinois coals. While this amount will not meet all the expenses, the Director of the Engineering Experiment Station is prepared to add up to $7000 so as to secure the whole amount necessary for the installation of the plant. BRONZE TABLET FOR WOMAN'S RESIDENCE HALL (10) The form for the wording of the tablet in the Woman's Residence Hall, prepared by Professor White. O n motion of M r . Trees, this form w a s approved. DEATH OF MRS. C. G. HOPKINS (11) A report of the death of Mrs. Cyril G. Hopkins on October 21, 1913. This report w a s received for record. C. P. A. CERTIFICATES (12) A recommendation that the Certificate of Certified Public Accountant be issued to the persons whose names follow, certified by the Committee on Accountancy to have passed successfully the necessary examinations and to have complied with all the requirements of the law relating to the issue of such certificates.
