URBANA, June 9,1902. lo the Board of Irustees of the University of Illinois: GENTLEMEN—Your Finance Committee begs leave to report that itfindsin the hands of E. G. Keith, Treasurer, three notes of the College of Physicians & Surgeons, of Chicago, the first dated Nov. 22,1900, for $4,000, second, Nov. 15, 1901, for $2,000, and the third, Nov. 15, 1901, for $100; all drawing 4 per cent interest. Also we find in his hands as a part of the Snyder fund, Michigan Telephone Co. 5 per cent 30 year bonds, Nos. 3944, 3945, and 3946, $1,000 each. Mortgage note given by Patrick Peterson for $4,800, due in five years from September 15,1900, 5 per cent interest. Respectfully submitted, F. M MCKAY, A. F. NIGHTINGALE,

Finance Committee, The Committee to which was referred the matter of securing the contract for furnishing uniforms for the cadets of the University regiment made the following report which was adopted: June 9, 1902. lo the Board of Irustees of the University of Illinois: GENTLEMEN—The undersigned, committee on furnishing uniforms to the Cadet Battalions, begs leave to report as follows: It advertised for one month for bids on furnishing these uniforms, and received bids as follows:

The bid of Fred Kauffmann, Chicago, 111., being the lowest and satisfactory in all respects, was accepted; and a contract made with him for furnishing uniforms for the academic years 1902-1903 and 1903-1904. Respectfully submitted, F. M. MCKAY, S. W. HHATTUCK, E. G. FECHET, Major U. S. Sundry bills for repairs and improvements made upon the build ing of the College of Medicine, which had been in the hands of the Committee on Finance, were referred to the special committee with regard to the transfer of property of the Physicians and Surgeons to the University. The Board adjourned to meet at 10:00 o'clock a. m., J u n e 30, 1902.
