SUPERINTENDENT OF GROUNDS.

I recommend the reappointment of Fred Atkinson as Superintendent of Grounds, and that his salary for the coming year be $1,100; also that Evelyn Atkinson be appointed Assistant Superintendent of Grounds for the year at $55 a month. It is recommended that the sum of $500 be appropriated for the expenses and services of Judge O. A. Harker as Lecturer in the College of Law. There are several vacancies in certain positions for which I am not yet prepared to make recommendations. I therefore ask that you authorize me to fill such vacancies as best I can before the opening of the semester in September. All appointments and changes of salary heretofore provided for will take effect September 1, next, unless otherwise specially noted; but in the cases of persons heretofore engaged in the agricultural work through the summer season the appointments will take effect from the first of July next and continue until Sept. 1, 1903, upon the approval of the Dean of the College of Agriculture and the Business Manager.
