P r e s i d e n t D r a p e r said t h a t h e s h o u l d like to go a b r o a d d u r i n g t h e n e x t s u m m e r vacation, and t h e B o a r d expressed its approval of h i s d o i n g so M U p o n t h e r e q u e s t of Mr. H a t c h , c h a i r m a n of t h e C o m m i t t e e on A g r i c u l t u r e , $500 was a p p r o p r i a t e d for d r a i n a g e on t h e s o u t h farm. T h e F i n a n c e C o m m i t t e e m a d e t h e following r e p o r t which was approved:

lo the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois: Your Finance Committee begs leave to report that it has examined the vouchers submitted by the Business manager for the three months ending September 30 1901, on which warrants have been issued as follows: Nos. 1 to 925, inclusive, general University; Nos. 1 to 77, inclusive, Agricultural Experiment Station; Nos. 1 to 25, inclusive, School of Pharmacy; Nos. 1 to 227, inclusive, College of Medicine. We have found that the above vouchers are in due form and properly receipted, except the following vouchers not presented at this time which are reported missing. General University No. 893. Agricultural Experiment Station No. 5. College of Medicine No. 10, F . C. Wheat, $84.00; No. 19, Marshall Field & Co., $103.27; No. 146, A, Gehrmann, $5.00. The following vouchers reported missing March 12,1901, and September 28, 1901, have been received and are now in the files: General University No. 3,219, Central Electric Co., $8.54. Agricultural Experiment Station, No. 209, S. W. Shattuck, Business Manager, $34.73. College of Medicine, No. 84, John Brough, $70.80; No. 843, College Index, $3.00; No. 652, H. E. Cavanaugh, $65.00; No. 838, Medill High School Light, $6.00. We recommend the same for your approval. Eespectfully submitted,
