President. The recommendations of the foregoing communication were acted upon as follows: 1. Appointment made as reoommended. 2. Recommendation approved. 3. Resolution adopted. 4. Resolution adopted. 5. Both resolutions adopted. 6. Mr. McLean moved to adopt the resolution. Mr. McKay moved to amend by referring it to the Committee on Buildings and Grounds for investigation and report, and the amendment prevailed. 7. The recommendation was referred to the Committee on Instruction, to confer with President Draper and Dr. Kinley, and with power to act. 8. The proposed amendment of the rule with regard to leaves of absence was adopted. 9. The attitude taken by the President was approved and the recommendations were referred to the Committee on Buildings and Grounds, and President Draper, with power to act. 10. Propositions (a), (b), (c) and (d) were severally adopted.
