Talbot-Hammet Family Tree

Virginia Mann Hammet and Arthur Newell Talbot's family, 1918. (right) From the left, the children are: Kenneth Hammet, Rachel Harriet, Mildred Virginia, and Dorothy Newell. At the time of this photograph, the daughers were unmarried; Kenneth had married Gertrude Phillips, and had two children -- Phillips Talbot, age 3, and Virginia Talbot, newborn. Unfortunately, Virginia Mann Hammet died only a year later, and thus saw only these two of her eventual ten grandchildren. Arthur, however, lived until 1942 and knew all his grandchildren, but none of his great-grandchildren.

The family tree shown below gives information through Virginia and Arthur's 22 great-grandchildren. Many of these are married and have children; but as of now (1994), grandchildren of the great-grandchildren have yet to be born.
