The Mining Museum, located in the Mining Engineering Laboratory, showcased a variety of models and specimens related to mining, including: [1]

A collection of models showing the methods of working coal and ore mines, both sectionalized and operating mining machines, and appliances; photographs and blue prints illustrative of mining and metallurgical design and construction; specimens of ores, coals, non-metallic minerals, and metallurgical products
